Trail Index, A to Z

Every named trail, path and old road recorded in the field atlas, in two parts: on Mount Desert Island, and off-island. Lost and abandoned trails, old roads and grades, current park trails and other paths are all included. GPS field logs, modern roads, streams and boundary lines are left out.

Sections recorded under one name are gathered together; for example, everything recorded on the Witch Hole Path is listed under Witch Hole Path. A leading “The”, “A” or “Old” is ignored in the order. Sections recorded with a description instead of a name, such as connectors and spurs, follow the A–Z in each part, grouped by area. Click any name to open that track in the Atlas.
